FLUX 3 Cost Estimator
“Draft then enhance” is this site’s planning sum: one draft pass at hd plus one full render at the selected resolution for the same duration. BFL bills each API call separately.
BFL docs list typical caps around 20s for t2v/i2v and 15s for v2v — enter the seconds you will request.

Sources & verification
- Primary: Black Forest Labs pay-as-you-go calculator on bfl.ai/pricing (CMS
videoRates/imageTierRates+ Product schema.org) — verified October 23, 2026 (Asia/Shanghai). - Docs hub: docs.bfl.ai/quick_start/pricing (structure; dollar cells are often client-rendered).
- Launch tables for Image / Klein also appear in docs.bfl.ml/release-notes (Image Oct 1, 2026; Klein Oct 15, 2026). Image 1.5k ($0.07) is taken from the live pricing page, not the Oct 1 release-note table (which omitted 1.5k).
- Credit rule: 1 credit = $0.01 USD (BFL docs & help).
- Stale figures: help.bfl.ai and some indexed docs snippets still show older video rates (e.g. t2v hd $0.17/s, fhd $0.29/s). This page does not use those.
What Drives a FLUX 3 Bill
- Seconds × class × mode. A 10-second t2v at hd is $1.50; the same clip at uhd is $4.10. Continuation (v2v) is priced above t2v/i2v at every class.
- Draft is an exploration tax, not free. Five draft seconds cost $0.30; enhancing that shot to fhd adds another $1.20 for five full seconds — $1.50 total in this site’s preset math.
- Image resolution is a cliff. FLUX 3 Image jumps from $0.10 at 2k to $0.607 at 4k. Preview at 768sq / 1k, commit 4k only for finals.
- Klein is the volume lane. Klein 1k is $0.009 vs Image 1k at $0.048 — roughly 5× cheaper per image when Klein quality is enough.
- Official calculator exists. BFL ships its own estimator on bfl.ai/pricing. This page is an independent, fan-made mirror focused on Video + Image + Klein in one URL with explicit source dating.

Why do some blogs still show $0.17/s or $0.29/s?
Those figures match older help/release-note tables. This calculator follows the live rates on bfl.ai/pricing as of October 23, 2026. Re-check BFL before you budget.
Methodology: estimates multiply the published unit rate by the duration or image count you enter (pro rata for fractional seconds). We do not invent reseller markups. Taxes and enterprise discounts are excluded. When BFL’s invoice uses the response cost field, treat that as ground truth.
