What Drives Your Bill
- References only raise the high tier. High with references is $0.32 vs $0.20 without (+60%), but low and medium are unchanged — so use reference images freely at low and medium, and reserve the $0.32 tier for finals that truly need guidance.
- Conversions are the cheapest path. At $0.10, vectorizing artwork you already have beats regenerating it from text at $0.13-$0.32 — sketch or raster first, convert second.
- Per-file pricing means batch size is the only lever. Prompt length does not change the bill, so iterate on drafts at low ($0.13) and only pay high ($0.20/$0.32) for the keepers.
- Dry-run before big batches. The dry_run flag validates and quotes a request without running, storing, or billing it — use it to price a batch before committing credits.
