How to Write Better Krea 3 Prompts

  1. Start with what stays. "Keep the product exactly as it is" works — and name what matters, like the label, the logo, or the face.
  2. Describe the change like a photographer. Name the scene, the light, and the camera — "sunlit beach, golden hour backlight, eye-level shot" beats "nice background".
  3. Number your references. Tell the model what each image is for: "image 1 is the room, image 2 is the sofa". Ordered references are the core of Krea 3's editing.
  4. Use "only" to scope edits. When just one thing should change, say so: "Change only the jacket color, keep everything else."
  5. Iterate fast, finish slow. Explore compositions on Instant thinking, then re-run the winner on Medium for the final image.
  6. Name materials and light explicitly. "Wet black stone", "golden hour backlight" render far better than vague words like "premium" or "beautiful lighting".

FAQ

What is Krea 3?

Krea 3 is the newest image model from Krea, the team behind Krea 2. It is built for fast, reference-driven editing: you upload your own images, describe the change in plain words, and the model keeps what matters while applying your edit.

How do reference images work in Krea 3?

You can attach up to 6–8 reference images and describe the change, for example "make the mug red, keep everything else the same". Tell the model what each image is for by number, e.g. "image 1 is the room, image 2 is the sofa".

What is the difference between Instant and Medium thinking mode?

Instant is the fast mode for quick iterations. Medium takes longer to think the edit through and usually produces more considered results. Try both — the difference can be significant.

Where can I use Krea 3?

Krea 3 runs on krea.ai and is also available through third-party integrations including fal, ComfyUI and Civitai.

Is Krea 3 free to use?

Pricing depends on the platform you use — some offer free tiers or trial credits. Check the pricing page of krea.ai or your chosen platform for current rates.

Do I need to upload images to use this generator?

No. This tool only builds the prompt text. Copy the generated prompt, then paste it into Krea together with your own reference images.
